This is a general starting template, not a substitute for review by a lawyer. Treat it as a placeholder while the platform is small, and have it reviewed before relying on it at scale.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text). Depending on your role, we also collect the profile information you choose to provide — for pilots, certification details, service area, specialties, and portfolio links; for clients, company name and type. Job posts, applications, and messages you send through the platform are stored so the relevant parties can see them.
Payment information
Card numbers and bank account details are entered directly into Stripe's hosted checkout and onboarding flows — Future Tech never receives or stores this information. We do store payment metadata needed to run the marketplace, such as amounts, fees, and payment status.
How we use your information
Your information is used to operate the platform: showing your public profile in the directory (if applicable), matching pilots and clients on jobs, processing payments, and enabling messaging between users who are working together on a job. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Data sharing
We share data with Stripe as needed to process payments and payouts, and with hosting/infrastructure providers (Vercel and its database provider) as needed to run the service. We do not share your data with advertisers.
Your choices
You can update or remove your profile information at any time from your account. To request deletion of your account entirely, contact us using the address on your account confirmation email.
